Glofox pricing

Glofox and Frontmat both say $99 a month. Only one says what the $99 buys

September 28, 2026

Two studio software companies put $99 a month at the top of their pricing. Glofox's plans page opens with "Plans starting at $99 per month." Frontmat's pricing says $99 a month. The number is the same. What each page tells you it buys is not.

Everything below was read from the two companies' own pages on September 28, 2026.

What the Glofox page says

The plans page names four tiers: Essential, Boost, Elite and Enterprise. The only figure on the page is $99. Boost and Elite carry no price. Enterprise says "Contact us to discuss a custom enterprise plan."

Essential lists booking and scheduling, member management, payment processing, payroll, reporting and analytics, and the ABC Glofox Mobile app for iOS and Android. Boost adds online lead capture, advanced reporting, retail products, e-agreements, community content, targeted communications and task management. Elite adds app localization and bulk multi-location configuration.

Then come the add-ons. The page lists three: ABC XLerate automated sales engagement, the Custom Branded Member App in the app store, and ABC Insights Multi-Location Analytics. The branded app is an add-on on Essential and Boost. It is included only in Elite. The page does not say what the add-on costs. It does not say what Elite costs either.

So a studio that wants its own name on the member app has two paths. It pays for an add-on with no price on a lower tier, or it moves up to a tier with no price. Neither number is on the page.

What the Frontmat page says

Frontmat is $99 a month for every feature and every location. The pricing section says "The only other cost you'll ever pay is Stripe's standard card processing, and that goes to Stripe, not us."

The branded member app is inside that $99. Members install the studio from the browser in two taps and land on a page with the studio's brand instead of ours. It is a web app, not an app store listing, so there is no per-studio build to charge for. Spot booking, referrals, win-backs and milestones are in the same price. So is migration: send us your member export, and Mindbody and Punchpass formats work as they are.

It is month to month. Data export is free any time, before, during or after cancelling. The trial is 14 days with no credit card to start.

Frontmat also does less. There is no retail POS and no payroll. Glofox lists payroll in Essential and retail products in Boost. If your studio runs payroll through its booking software, that is a real reason to get a full Glofox quote.

Frontmat is $99 a month flat. Every feature, every location, month to month. Card processing is Stripe’s published rate and goes to Stripe.

A price locked for life, and one account of a price that moved

The Glofox FAQ makes a promise. It says "your price is locked for life" and adds "even as new features are added." The same page says "No hidden fees so you know exactly what you're paying for."

That promise is worth having in writing. It is also worth reading next to one reviewer's experience. A G2 review from a Verified User, dated December 4, 2024, describes "a 70 percent increase in pricing with no added value or ample notice to find a replacement solution and cancel."

That is one reviewer, and the review is almost two years old. We found it quoted on Vibefam's Glofox pricing page. Vibefam sells studio software too. It is one account, not a pattern. From the outside we cannot tell whether the locked-for-life promise was on offer when that reviewer signed. The place to settle it is your contract.

What to ask Glofox before you sign

Our compare page gives Glofox the same short list: what the branded app tier costs, whether billing is quarterly, and the contract length.

Glofox may be the better fit for a studio that wants payroll and retail in one system. The point here is narrower. Both pages open on $99. The Glofox page shows where its price starts. Ours shows the whole price.
