Founding Studios

Twenty studios. Twelve months. We build it with you.

Frontmat is booking software for boutique fitness studios. $99 a month, everything included, month to month, free export. The first twenty studios to run on it get more than the price, and we ask for something back.

A founder reads every application and answers within two business days.

What we ask

About eight hours over the year, none of them in the month you open. Tell us what breaks. Take one short call a quarter about what we build next. After your first paid month, write an honest review if you want to. Later, let us tell your story, with your numbers and your approval. You can say no to any of it and keep everything above.

Who it is for

Owner-run studios with one to three locations, open now or opening within 90 days.
Not franchise locations. The franchisor picks the software.
If you can find an hour this week for the setup session, you qualify.

Founding Studios so far

The first wave is forming. Studios appear here as they are seated, each with a line of its own.

Every Founding Studio gets free and discounted software from Frontmat, so anything one says about us here carries that line.

The questions

What does locked through 2028 mean if you get bought?

The dates bind whoever owns Frontmat. Your export is free any time, so the promise costs us something to break.

Do I have to write a review?

No. We ask once, after your first paid month. Honest or not at all. We never ask for a rating and never edit a word.

Why not a free year?

Because a studio that pays $99 and says it is worth it is the only proof anyone believes, us included.

What if I open late?

Free until you open lasts 90 days. If six months pass with no class, the seat goes back to the pool and you keep your account on the normal trial.

Can I leave?

Any time, with 30 days' notice. You keep what you got. The founding rate and the lock end at your next invoice.

My members are in Mindbody.

We import them before the setup session and show you exactly what will land: balances, packs, class history.

Does this cover my own founding members?

Your presale is yours. Frontmat sells memberships that bill on your opening day, and caps your founding tier at what your room can hold. Some states regulate pre-opening sales; we point you to the rules.

What can I say when I refer a studio?

Anything true. Add this line: "I get a credit on my Frontmat bill when a studio I refer stays."

20 seats. Applications close December 31, 2026.

The terms are one page and you can read all of them.
