A member's timeline, and how often they come

Checked against the admin on October 22, 2026.

A member's page shows everything about them in one dated list, newest first, and above it a strip of how often they have come over the last half year, with a marker where that changed.

A member's page: details, the strip of classes a week with a change marker, and the timeline
A member's page: Classes a week, last 26 weeks, then the Timeline.

The timeline

Under Details, the Timeline lists how they arrived (if they were a lead first, those days are at the bottom), when they joined and signed the waiver, every class (checked in, a no-show, canceled, or booked ahead), purchases and credits in plain words, every email your studio sent them and when, notes, and the milestones they reached on your ladder. It opens on Highlights: everything that says something, with each run of ordinary classes in between folded into one line (“10 classes checked in, Aug 25 to Sep 10”) that Show opens, and a row where the strip marks a change in how often they come. All shows every row; Classes, Money and Emails narrow it. A long timeline scrolls inside its box: a fade and a count at the top or bottom edge say there is more newer or earlier, and clicking the count takes you there.

Staff see classes, notes and where someone stands. Money and emails stay with owners and admins.

Classes a week

The strip is 26 weeks, Monday to Sunday in your studio's time. Weeks before their first class are a thin gray line, unless they came over from another system or joined before these weeks, and this week is dashed because it is not over. A flag marks the week they reached a milestone, counting the classes they brought from another system. Where their four-week average halved or doubled against the eight weeks before it, by at least one class a week, a dashed marker sits at the week the change began, with what happened: started coming less often, stopped coming, came back, or started coming more often. The averages themselves are in the strip's corner: the last four weeks, and the eight before.

In a member's first twelve weeks the strip starts at their first week instead: bars for the weeks so far, dotted weeks still to come, how many classes so far, and two dates: four weeks in, when it shows their usual week, and twelve weeks in, from when it can say if they start coming less often.

At risk and lapsed

Every row on Members says where that member stands:

The At risk and Lapsed filters list them, with how many there are. In a new studio, until anyone could be at risk or lapsed, each says from when (At risk · from Jan 14): twelve weeks after your first member's first class, and four weeks after it. The tags are worked out each day; a member's own page works the strip out as you open it. A member away on vacation shows at risk until they come back; the numbers are there so you can judge.

Doing something about it

Home names the members at risk, and the ones who stopped coming in the last month or so, under Needs attention, with a link to each record and to the filter.

On the record of someone at risk or lapsed, a box under the strip says what changed and what has already gone out: nothing automatic goes for someone at risk, and for someone lapsed it says whether the win-back email went, when it will, or that it is off. Below that, Email starts from a short note in your words to edit, sent as the studio, with replies to your contact address, and it shows on their timeline. Owners and admins can send it; it honors their unsubscribe. Or give them a credit for their next class.
