Features

Get paid honestly.

Members pay through your own Stripe account. Stripe pays your bank directly, Frontmat never holds the money, and there is no platform fee on top of Stripe's published rate. Credits live on a ledger your members can read.

Products

Three things a studio sells.

A drop-in (one purchase, one class credit), a class pack (a set of credits, with an optional expiry), and a membership (monthly, with a number of classes a month or unlimited). Three products are enough to open. A price change applies to new purchases; a pack already bought keeps its terms.

A studio that has not opened can sell a founding membership that bills on opening day.

The For sale list: two memberships, an intro offer and two class packs, each with its price and On sale status.
Drop-ins, packs and memberships, in one list.
Your Stripe account

Stripe's rate, and nothing on top.

Connecting takes about ten minutes under Settings › Payments: your legal name, your EIN, the bank account, a phone for the code. It stays your account. Stripe's published rate is what a card costs you, and it goes to Stripe. Frontmat adds no markup, no platform fee and no commission on anything your members buy from you.

Members pay through the app or through the schedule on your own website, with a card saved for a pack whose rule charges a fee.

Settings › Payments once Stripe is connected: the account, charges on, payouts on to your bank, details sent.
Your own Stripe account, connected once.
Credits and fees

A ledger, not a counter.

Every credit a member holds is a line on a ledger: what they bought, what each class used, what expired and when. The member reads the same ledger in their app, so "where did my credit go" has an answer.

A late cancel or a no-show costs what the pack or membership the member booked with says: the credit, a fee, both or nothing. Fees hold for 24 hours before they charge, a forgiveness rule can waive the first one each month, and the desk can waive any fee with one click.

Settings › Policies: the late-cancel and no-show fee amounts, and the list of what each product charges.
Fee rules live on the product the member booked with.

What it is not

Not a card-present terminal or a retail point of sale. If the front desk sells water and grip socks on a terminal, Frontmat is not that.

Not a wallet. Frontmat never holds your money; Stripe pays your bank.

Frontmat is $99 a month flat. Every feature on this page, every location, month to month. Card processing is Stripe’s published rate and goes to Stripe.

Free trial without a card. Your data exports any time, including after you cancel.
