Let members bring a friend
A member can add a named friend to their own booking when a spot is open. The friend takes a real spot, the member pays for it the way they pay for their own (a credit, or nothing extra on an unlimited membership), and the desk ticks the waiver at the door.
Turning it on
- Open Settings › Policies, under Guests.
- Set Members can bring guests to 1 per booking or 2 per booking (or Off).
- Set Guests per member per month, or tick No monthly limit. Lowering it never unbooks a guest already on the roster.
- Click Save policies.
What the member does
On a class they are booked into, the class page shows Bring a friend with the open spot next to theirs and what it costs. They type the friend's first name and, if they like, an email, and book the spot. Their booking email names the guest, and canceling their own spot cancels the guest's too. A member short of credits is asked to top up first.
At the desk
- A member who rang up: on the roster, add a guest for…, the name, Add guest. Staff can add one after the booking cutoff.
- Mark waiver signed when the guest signs at the door; Home lists unsigned guests booked in the next two days.
- Check in and No-show like anyone else. A guest's no-show costs the member who brought them what their own would.
- Remove gives the member's credit back.
Turning a guest into a member
A guest who left an email gets one invitation the day after the class, from your studio, carrying the host's referral code so their first class is on you if your referral program is on. On the roster after check-in, Make them a member sends it right away. From three bookings Home says has N guest bookings with Invite them to join; the guest's record counts the bookings and says how many they checked in at. Leads › Guests lists every guest with their visits, and a guest record can be merged with a duplicate or deleted. A guest who left an email is also a lead, so they appear on Leads and get your follow-up emails: the invitation the day after their class counts as the first, and the other two follow unless they book or buy first.
