What studio software charges for marketing tools in 2026

October 25, 2026

Most studio software now sells a marketing tool. It follows up with people who asked about the studio, sends email and text campaigns, and lately answers messages with an AI agent. We read the pricing, marketing and help pages of eight vendors on October 25, 2026, to see which plan carries the marketing and what it costs.

Two of the eight print the price of the plan that has it. The other six ask you to book a demo. Texts are metered almost everywhere, often at a rate the vendor does not publish, and the AI agents cost extra or sit in the top tier.

The short version

Vendor Where the marketing tools sit Published price for that plan
Mindbody The Ultimate plan None. Plans say "Let's talk"
Momence An Email & SMS Marketing Suite in its app store None
Mariana Tek The Core + Growth package None. "Book a demo"
Arketa Studio Growth, or a Marketing Suite add-on None. "Request a demo for pricing"
WellnessLiving The Business plan and up $199 a month, $179 billed annually
ABC Glofox The Boost plan, plus the ABC XLerate add-on None for either
Kilo Gym Lead Machine $375 a month
Walla The Pro plan None. "Let's talk"

Mindbody: the Ultimate plan, running on Attentive

Mindbody's pricing page prints one number, "Starting at $79 USD/month per location", and every plan shows a "Let's talk" button instead of a price. In its plan comparison, "Email and SMS marketing" and the "Lead management dashboard" are marked as included on Ultimate only. Mindbody's own pricing post says "Accelerate and Ultimate are quote-based".

Texts come in a bundle. The pricing FAQ says Ultimate "includes automated email and text marketing, with a monthly text bundle", and that "Additional texts are a fraction of a cent each". The page gives neither the size of the bundle nor the rate.

The marketing itself runs on another company's product. Mindbody's marketing page says it works "Using Attentive SMS & Email".

Momence: a suite you switch on, and a $399 agent

Momence's pricing page has no prices on it. It says "Let's talk pricing". Its help center puts marketing in its app store: "Activate it directly under Apps & Integrations > App Store > Email & SMS Marketing Suite." No price is given there either.

The one Momence figure we found is for its AI Agent, which its help article prices at "$399/month" and follows with "As we add new features the cost will rise for hosts that have not yet activated the app." We wrote about that agent in the Momence AI agent post.

Mariana Tek: Core + Growth, with an SMS allotment

Mariana Tek's pricing page names three packages and shows "Book a demo" in place of every price. Marketing arrives with Core + Growth, which adds "Marketing automation–emails and SMS", "Two-way texting with customers" and "Landing pages and standard forms". The FAQ calls this "access to our Marketing Suite, Xplor Growth".

The texts are counted. The marketing page says "Write and schedule unlimited texts and emails". The help center says "The SMS allotment defaults to 2000 messages per month", and that past it "It still sends additional messages and bills them separately." Both can be true. The first is what you can write and schedule, and the second is what the package pays for. The help center publishes no rate for the extra messages.

Arketa: Studio Growth on one page, a paid add-on on another

Arketa's pricing page shows "Request a demo for pricing" on all three studio plans. It lists "Email + text campaigns", "Automated workflows" and "Lead generation + pipeline management" in Studio Growth. The same page lists a "Marketing Suite" under "Recommended add-ons", and Arketa's marketing automations page says "Arketa's marketing automation is part of the Marketing Suite, a paid add-on." Most likely, Studio Growth includes the suite and the other plans buy it.

Its help center sets the limits: "Each Arketa account includes 10,000 marketing emails and 2,500 SMS credits per month at no additional charge." Past that, it charges "$0.015 per credit" for texts and "$0.0005 per email".

WellnessLiving: published, from $199

WellnessLiving prints its prices. On its pricing page, Business at "$199 /mo" is the first plan whose card lists "Email & Text Marketing" and "Lead Management". Billed annually it shows "$179 /mo". Starter, at $69, does not include them.

Texting is its own subscription. The help center says Message Center "is sold as a separate subscription", and the Message Center page lists plans from "$19/mo" to "$375/mo".

ABC Glofox: Boost, XLerate and SMS credits

Glofox's plans page says "PLANS STARTING AT $99 PER MONTH" and prints no other figure. Boost adds "Online lead capture forms" and "Targeted communications". "ABC XLerate automated sales engagement" is an optional add-on on Essential and Boost and is included on Elite. No add-on price is shown.

On texts, two pages read differently. The CRM and marketing page says "Glofox includes email, SMS, and push messaging built in". The help center asks "What is the Glofox SMS add-on?" and sends you to your Onboarding Manager to buy it. Most likely, the software can send texts and the texts themselves are bought as credits. No price per credit is published.

Kilo: $375 for the lead side

Kilo's products are named for gyms, and it publishes its prices. Its pricing page lists Gym Lead Machine at "$375 /month", with "Automated lead nurture via email and SMS" and landing pages. Its Gym Management Software is "$150 /month" and the bundle of both is "$450 /month".

The plan includes "1200 SMS" a month. Kilo's terms of service add "$15 per 500 additional messages" for accounts in North America.

Walla: the suite is in Pro

Walla's pricing page starts at "$299" a month per location. That plan includes lead forms, "Meta & Google lead sync and conversion tracking" and "Email & newsletters included". The marketing suite page says "Full marketing suite included in Pro", and Pro has no price: "Let's talk about Pro". Its texting FAQ says overages "are billed at the beginning of the following month" and gives no rate.

The AI line items

Most of these vendors now offer an AI agent that answers messages. Where one has a price, it sits on top of the plan, or the agent comes with the top tier. Momence's is $399 a month. WellnessLiving's CAASI agent is "$99 per location/month" for chat and "$299 per location/month" for the phone, according to its help center. Kilo charges "$0.06 per message" for Conversation AI and "$0.39 per minute" for Voice AI. Mindbody's pricing post places "AI-powered front desk support" in Ultimate.

What Frontmat includes for $99

What Frontmat does not do

We left some things out on purpose, and it is fair to say which.

If you want campaigns and newsletters, keep the tool you like. Connect sends it every new lead, first booking, purchase and lapsed member as it happens, and the help center walks through MailerLite step by step.

Four questions for the demo call

  1. Which plan carries the marketing tools, and what does it cost for my number of locations?
  2. How many texts does that plan include, and what does each one past that cost?
  3. Is the AI agent part of the plan or priced on top, and can that price change?
  4. Whose software sends my emails and texts, and do my lists come with me if I leave?
